About Me

My name is Erin Tardibuono

I am a passionate performer and lifelong Girl Scout currently pursuing my Gold Award, the highest honor in Girl Scouting. Since kindergarten, Girl Scouts has helped shape my identity, instilling in me a deep commitment to community service, leadership, and personal growth.

At the heart of everything I do is a desire to support others in reaching their dreams. As someone actively involved in the performing arts, I've experienced the highs and lows that come with pursuing a creative career. Those personal challenges inspired me to take action and create something meaningful for others navigating similar journeys.

Through my Gold Award project, I’m channeling my passion for the arts and my commitment to mental wellness to make a lasting difference in the lives of young performers.

About the Project

​

“Beyond Talent: Thriving in the Performing Arts Industry” is my Gold Award project designed to support young people in the performing arts as they navigate the emotional and mental demands of the industry.

​

Many young performers face pressures like anxiety, unhealthy competition, jealousy, and self-doubt. I realized these challenges weren’t unique to me and that sharing what I’ve learned could help others thrive, not just survive, in the arts world.

​

I’m excited to watch this vision grow and hope it empowers young artists to find joy, resilience, and confidence in their craft.

This project promotes:

  • Relaxation and mindfulness techniques (like breathing and meditation)

  • A positive growth mindset

  • Healthy preparation and training habits

  • Giving back to the artistic community

“Beyond Talent” includes:

  • Workshops (in-person and virtual)

  • A podcast and blog featuring advice, interviews, and stories

  • A children’s book designed to inspire young artists

  • A social media campaign to spread positivity and resources online
